We are approaching the half-way point of the studio build. The project has come along way and there is still a mile to go. Momentum is building and we are so pleased with the work done so far. We have reached a milestone and the main timber structures that create the control room and live room are complete. So all the contractors have been working their quotes and sending them in, as we anticipated we have needed to make drastic changes to the studio designs to make the project work. Firstly, the water drains have been diverted out of the premises, which is good news as it means the risk of flooding has been practically eliminated (or significantly reduced). An architect, electrician, and a plumber walk in to a bar... No they didn't, actually they came down to the unit to consult our plans for the new recording studio. The first obstacles are afoot and there are some pretty radical changes needed to tackle them.
